Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the bistro specializes in homestyle food with an Italian flair. Menu items range from classic entrées and local favorites to authentic pastas and pizzas. A decadent selection of homemade desserts and pastries are crafted daily.

Owner and Head Chef Luciano Zanon began his culinary career at a young age, working in a small family owned trattoria in Venice, Italy. With a lifelong enthusiasm for innovative cooking, Luciano is well known as one of Maui’s most inspired chefs. His background includes operating the award-winning Tiffany Luigi’s Pasta & Pizzeria as well as establishing two high-end catering companies. Luciano’s Catering Company, a distinguished private jet caterer, sold in 2006. Luciano currently operates Bella Venezia Catering, creating unique and unforgettable cuisine for special events and clientele. He has also consulted for over thirty years in recipe development and training for several upscale restaurants.

Luciano Zanon and his wife Chantal opened Kula Bistro in 2012 with a vision of offering finely crafted food in an affordable, comfortable venue. The restaurant’s charming atmosphere captures the ambiance of a traditional Italian trattoria. With a wide variety of choices created using only the highest quality, fresh local ingredients, Kula Bistro is an excellent dining experience the whole family will enjoy.

Kula Bistro is conveniently located across from the historic Morihara Store in Kula. Alcohol is BYOB with no corkage fee. The restaurant offers street parking as well as a dedicated parking lot. Take out is available for all menu items.
